Coronavirus Tips You Can Take Charge With
With the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in Cedar Rapids, it’s not
surprising that people are wary about what’s happening on a day-to-day basis. The good news is that it’s possible to both stay informed and do your part in limiting the spread of coronavirus in Cedar Rapids. Take charge of what you can do by following the tips recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash your hands: The hands spread more germs and bacteria than any other part of your body. Take charge by washing them with soap and water. Be sure to follow the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time, especially if you’ve recently left the home.
- Sanitizer is your friend: For those times when washing your hands isn’t an option, it’s time to turn to sanitizer. To give yourself the best chance of preventing coronavirus, make sure the sanitizer is at least 60% alcohol.
- Social distancing: The closer you are to other people, the more likely coronavirus is to possibly spread in Cedar Rapids. For this reason, it’s important to stay home as much as you can. If you do need to go out, then make sure to maintain a minimum distance of six feet from everyone else.
- Clean up the home: It’s important to regularly sanitize and disinfect the home. For the best results, make sure to follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
